Wear & Tear Guide
How to spot blade wear:
A wiper blade will not function effectively if the blade or the wiper arm is in poor condition. Regular checks will ensure that you maintain optimum performance.
1. Check the blades for worn and corroded joints or bent and twisted arms.
2. Ensure that the rubber on the blade can move freely and that the rubber is kept in contact with the screen for the whole wipe.
3. Never operate wipers on an icy or frosted windscreen. This will damage the edge of the blade rubbers.
4. Wipers function better on a clean windscreen. Clean the windscreen regularly with a non-abrasive cleaner and warm water.
