Trico® announces major European product promotion for the autumn
Trico®, a world leader in replacement windscreen wiper blades for the automotive aftermarket, has announced the launch of a major European sales promotion, designed to increase sales of all its aftermarket product brands.
Launching on the 1st September the ‘Fit Trico’ promotion will provide opportunities for purchasers and suppliers of any Trico replacement wiper blade to win hundreds of prizes ranging from WiiFit balance board and console bundles, through iPod Shuffles to iTunes download gift cards.
During the period, from 1st September to the 31st December, every blade sold by Trico’s distributors will be accompanied by a scratch card. The final purchaser of the blade simply has to scratch off the card to reveal a number which, when referenced at the promotion website: www.fittrico.eu.com, will tell whether or not the card has won a prize. But in a novel twist, its not just the fitter who wins. The website will ask all winners to name who they bought the blade from, and that supplier will win exactly the same prize as the purchaser!
The promotion will apply to all Trico aftermarket brands, whether beam (flat) or conventional style and also includes rear blades in the TricoFit range. By locking the claim/win process together, the promotion is designed to encourage independent garages and workshops to specify Trico product by name from their regular factor, and increase overall sales throughout the supply chain.
