Trico® announces repackaging of its ‘factory replacement’ range of conventional wiper blades

Trico®, a world leader in replacement windscreen wiper blades for the automotive aftermarket has announced the re-launch of its ExactFit™ range of ‘conventional’ factory replacement wiper blades under the TricoFit brand name.

Trico’s ExactFit™ blades have provided a high level of satisfaction and performance for customers for many years and, due to their universal adaptor, provide the nearest like-for-like replacement for OE fit blades across the widest range of vehicle types.

Fit Trico bladesFollowing an extensive market review, the range has been rationalised, re-aligned and now includes 27 rear blade parts and a range of ‘hybrid’ blades.

Hybrid blades are a popular original fitment on many Japanese and Korean vehicles. This style of blade is particularly suited for large attack angle variations and maximises high-speed windlift performance with low-noise operation.

Despite the name change, existing part numbers will not change from their market-recognised EF, ES and EX designations. New additions to the range will be introduced with all-new HF (Hybrid blade) and EF, ES and EX part numbers as appropriate.

TricoFit’s packaging is in line with the recently launched Trico™ and TricoTech ™ blade ranges and is designed to provide maximum shelf appeal for the products at all stages throughout the sales chain. The new single blade packs provide a modern, vibrant look and feel for Trico as it continues to evolve with the needs of the industry. The new black logo is redolent of fresh rubber, the primary component of the company’s products.

Announcing the change, Trico’s Aftermarket Sales Director, Nigel Cole, commented: “This rationalisation and repackaging of our premier ‘factory replacement’ range is a result of our on-going brand realignment strategy, to provide our customers right across Europe with the widest choice of parts for their particular market conditions.  Our aim is to provide a clearly differentiated range to cover the majority of the car and light commercial vehicle parc wherever you are trading.”
